For its exceptional leathers, La Botte Gardiane works with environmentally-friendly tanneries (all water is filtered and depolluted), most of which are located in France (or in Italy and Spain if equivalent leathers are not available in France). For over 20% of our production, we use 100% vegetable-tanned leathers, which are non-polluting and guaranteed chrome-free. We use accessories such as shoe boxes made from recycled cardboard and manufactured in France, tissue paper made by a French "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company), and even our thank you cards are French!

Our commitment to a more respectful world is part of La Botte Gardiane's DNA. We want our business to have the least possible impact on our environment. Durable, repairable, high-quality products, made in the same place, with no outsourcing.

We have established trusted, long-term relationships with our main suppliers. Our position is not to seek the lowest prices but to always have an excellent product, ideally sourced from France. We only select a French supplier if the quality criteria are met; the raw material must have real added value.

Everything possible is done to promote well-being at work. Noise pollution generated by production activity is reduced thanks to micro-perforated soundproof walls, which make the acoustics more pleasant. To combat high temperatures, the building, in addition to being constructed according to RT2012 standards, is fully air-conditioned.
