Shipping & Delivery


The shipping times vary between 2 working days for a shoe pair in stock and up to 4 weeks for a shoe pair made on demand, these times may vary depending on the workload of our workshop. We deliver free of charge in mainland France, Corsica and Monaco and all over the world for an additional delivery fee. How to choose your size?

For closed shoes (boots, ankle boots, derbies and moccasins): We recommend that you take your usual size.

For sandals (Mage, Bali, Saint Ambroise, Uzès, Pac ...) : We recommend you to choose a half size above your usual size.

For closed sandals (Caroles, Cilaos, Jérôme, Fisherman and Géronimo): We recommend that you take one size above your usual size.

Reminder: In case of doubt, the size recommendations are indicated in the shoe description.

If your foot has a specificity (wider, thinner, strong or very strong instep), we offer a foot width option and an instep option allowing you to adapt the shoes to your needs.

My orders

The customer can order online at www.labottegardiane.com. La Botte Gardiane reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order or which would present in its eyes some form of risk. Any order constitutes acceptance of the prices and description of the products available for sale. La Botte Gardiane undertakes to honor the orders received on the website only within the limit of available leather stocks and possible restocking. If one or more products(s) ordered are not available, La Botte Gardiane undertakes to inform the customer as soon as possible. The customer’s order will then be automatically cancelled and the corresponding amount refunded.

You can cancel or modify the content of your order within 12 hours from its validation, to do so, simply contact our customer service by phone at 04 66 73 20 85 or by email at info@labottegardiane.com.

Exchanges & Returns


To return a standard item to us, you have 30 days, from the date of receipt of your order, to make the request and return the product to us. To do so, contact us by e-mail at info@labottegardiane.com specifying your contact details and the reason for the return. In case the item is not suitable, the return costs are the responsibility of the customer. For custom-made articles (non-standard articles, with specific additions or modifications), in accordance with Article L222-7 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot apply. Return items should be sent to: La Botte Gardiane, ZA Lallemande, RN 113 30670 Aigues-Vives.

We recommand you to select a tracked delivery method. Without the use of a tracking number, we will not accept any claims.

In case of payment by cheque, it must be issued by a bank domiciled in mainland France and made out to the order of La Botte Gardiane. It can be sent to La Botte Gardiane, Service Commandes, ZA Lallemande RN113, 30670 Aigues-Vives. Products ordered in stock are reserved 10 days from the date of order. After this period and failing receipt of the corresponding cheque, the product(s) ordered will be returned to stock. Cashing is done upon receipt of the cheque.

My account

In order to create an account, simply go to the "My Account" page and enter your personal information. Once your account is created, you can easily access your orders and manage your shipping addresses. Your returns, credit notes and vouchers will be sent to you by email. If you want to sign in to your account but have forgotten your password, go to the “My Account” page and click on “Forgot your password?”, so you will receive a link by e-mail.mail allowing you to obtain a new password that you can customize once logged in.


Shoe care


For greasy leathers and waxed rind, we recommend that you clean the leather with a damp sponge and then apply a colourless grease with a soft cloth. To remove any scratches, apply a small amount of shoe polish. We advise against the use of Sapo grease because it breaks the fibres of the leather to soften it and thus alters its integrity. Prefer natural fats such that you can find on our site in the section «Care&Repair» .

Note: If you do not wear your shoes for a long time, it is possible that a thin white film appears, which emanates from the leather and protects it. To remove it, you can wipe your shoes with a soft cloth or heat them with a hairdryer to make the grease penetrate the leather again. For croupon Camargue, velvet or glitter leather, it is essential to apply a waterproofing spray before the first use to protect your shoe from liquids that could stain them. However, to remove stains, you can use a sponge and soap. If this is not enough you will have to brush the leather with a soft metal brush (brass for example), or use a suede eraser or an abrasive paper with very fine grains. Finally, for grease stains you can apply a dry stain remover, F-Essence, or Sommières Soil®. The behaviour of the product should be tested on a small part of the shoe before applying it all over.


For python printed leathers and leathers with bristles, they should be waterproofed with an waterproofing spray or a solvent-free waterproofing spray, before wearing them the first time. You can also use a comb to clean hair.

Note: In the first few days of using your pair of boots or boots, you will notice that your heel will lift slightly inside the boot. This transient phenomenon (about 10 days) is quite normal: the sole is composed of different thicknesses of leather that make it very rigid. It takes time to "break" the sole and soften it. After this time, the de-calibration disappears. If this de-calibration is too important, it is possible that the shoe is not suitable (size too big or instep too thin). Here are some information to take your measurements.

Measuring your boots height: To take this measure, one must be standing, well erect, barefoot, with the foot flat on the ground. For ease of use, ask another person to measure, on the profile of your leg, the height you want from the ground. The maximum boot height is 3 cm below the hollow of the knee as a boot going into the hollow of the knee could disturb you when crouching. Note that this measurement does not take into account the total height of the boot (including sole and heel).

Regarding the instep: the simplest thing is to determine if with other shoes you have found that you have a thin, strong, or rather normal foot-neck. In case of doubt, do not hesitate to contact our customer service by email at info@labottegardiane.com.
